SALT
Sea Salt / Halite
Sea salt is made differently than halite. Halite has a whole life of creating and existing while sea salt is just the remainder of evaporated sea water. I wondered if there were differences in these types of salt.

Looks: The structure of the two types of salt differ. The structure of sea salt is much rougher, because of this normal salt is easier to blend in. Salt can also change in colour like Himalayan salt and smoked salt.

Heritage: Sea salt is just salt created by evaporating water. While halite is mined from underground salt beds. After this mining the table salt is cultivated, iodine is added and some anti-caking substances are added.

Some people say sea salt is healthier, others say table salt is healthier. The truth is that it is both salt, so it is both bad for you. They approximately have the same nutrients, the only difference is that table salt has iodine which is recommended.
There are also different types of sea salt
This is a type of unwashed sea salt, because of that it has a grey colour. The fact that it is unwashed has its pros and cons, it still obtains all it minerals, but it can also still have bacteria and algae. This makes it important to know where your unrefined salt comes from.
This type of sea salt comes from Bretagne in France, which was the Celtic Empire in history. Most of the time it is still mined by hand and it is also unrefined salt giving it a grey or black colour.
The looks of this salt are kind of pink-ish. The salt comes from the Himalayan mountains in Pakistan. Some people say this is the healthiest salt, however there is no difference in sodium. This salt does obtain a lot more minerals than normal salt, but with small portions it is not enough to be beneficial for the human body.
